Candace photoI have always been interested in health and nutrition and the wonders of the human body.  I find it fascinating how different variables such as diet and exercise can have such an impact on our health, vitality and performance.

I am lucky to have been able to incorporate these interests into my work throughout my career to date.

I originally graduated from the University of Exeter gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Biological Sciences.

I then spent 11 successful years in the Pharmaceutical Industry, mostly in sales, training and coaching.  I spent the last four years of that time in management.

As a manager, I was continually able to see in my team, how different foods and poor diets could impact on their performance, mood and abilities in a workplace environment. This instigated a desire to find out more about food and nutrition and its relationship to our health.

I had always wanted to run my own business and be more in charge of my own time. This along with my knowledge, interests, work and life experiences, and love of cooking, focused my desire to pursue my dreams.

I graduated with a Diploma in Optimal Nutritional Therapy (DipONT) and set up my own Nutritional Therapy Practice, NaturWell Nutrition!

Since using the principles of nutritional therapy to alleviate my own hayfever and IBS symptoms, my passion for nutrition has grown.  Now more than ever I believe strongly in the value of good, balanced nutrition for improving and maintaining health and vitality.
